Royal Caribbean hosts 200 UK agents on Legend of the Seas

Nearly 200 travel agents from the UK and Ireland have boarded Legend of the Seas for Royal Caribbean International’s largest-ever Seminar at Sea.

The group joined more than 350 travel partners from across the EMEA region for a four-night sailing from Barcelona, taking place from August 16-20.

The trip marks the first time an Icon Class ship has operated in Europe, with agents taking part in three dedicated training sessions covering suite accommodation, key ports of call and the line’s Ultimate Destinations portfolio.

The sailing is also being used to showcase Royal Caribbean’s new AI-powered live translation tool, which provides translated audio and closed captioning in preferred languages for trade partners across the region.

Alongside structured training, agents are experiencing the line’s interactive ‘Legend Quest’ game, designed to encourage exploration of the ship’s 40 dining, drinking and entertainment venues, including the new Hollywoodland Supper Club and a production of Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

The itinerary includes calls at Palma de Mallorca and La Spezia.
