TROUBLED Belgian flag carrier Sabena has gone to court to file for bankruptcy.
The airline has grounded all flights because of its liquidity problems and reports suggest staff have been told to stay at home.
Sabena had been in financial trouble since January when partner Swissair decided not to increase its stake from 49% to 85% and September’s terrorist attacks in the US made its problems worse.
