Sabena shakes up board

SABENA has shaken up its board following the buyout by Swissair owner SAirGroup.

 

 

President and chief executive Paul Reutlinger is to leave his roles to take over the merger of French carriers AOM, Air Littoral and Air Liberte. He will be replaced by current chief operating officer Christoph Muller.

 

 

Reutlinger remains on the Sabena board as vice-chairman.

 

 

SAirGroup has taken control of the three French airlines and is attempting to form one mega-carrier out of them to challenge Air France.
