Scarborough’s Grand Hotel re-opens

h has re-opened after a sickness outbreak forced it to close last week.

A spokeswoman for the Grand Hotel Group, which owns the 360-room property, said around 200 people fell ill with the Norwalk strain of viral gastroenteritis.

The hotel was closed over the weekend so an intensive cleaning programme could be undertaken.
