Scenic Group is offering agents the chance to win a “once-in-a-lifetime opportunity” to join a luxury cruise through the Mediterranean in September.
The cruise line has partnered with Travel Weekly to launch the Scenic Specialists programme, which will see five agents join a voyage from Marseille to Barcelona on September 28.
Speaking in a Travel Weekly webcast with news reporter Ella Sagar, director of trade and partnerships Shane Lewis-Riley said the idea for the incentive came after a ship visit in London Tilbury with nearly 100 trade partners on Scenic Eclipse II on July 31.

Lewis-Riley said: “We thought, ‘How do we make this experience even bigger and better and make sure we can get more agents involved in everything we’re doing?’
“We are delighted to introduce our Scenic Specialists programme in partnership with our friends at Travel Weekly, where we are looking for five incredible travel advisors to join us in six-star luxury on board Scenic Eclipse II.”
He added: “I would say this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to sail free of charge on a six-star ultra-luxury yacht through the Mediterranean and immerse yourself in that experience.”
Each of the Scenic Specialists will have a “distinct area” to focus on while on board, including culinary, wellness, technology, excursions and service.
Lewis-Riley added the specialists will become “an extension of our team” and promised “lots of surprise and delight moments throughout the year”.

Head of sales Jonathan Davies said it was “a great opportunity”, adding: “It is a fabulous itinerary with Marseille, Mahón, Palma, Ibiza, Valencia, and then finishing in Barcelona.
“You will be hosted by the amazing trade team and will get to experience the onboard experience, plus a choice of three tours every day and a Scenic Enrich experience in Palma, which will be a live concert at Bellver Castle, a hilltop fortress overlooking the city.”
He added: “The cruise is just the start of the journey and there will be lots more things coming throughout the year.”
Davies said he and Lewis-Riley will be flying out to Ibiza to join the group on the “spectacular trip”.
Agents can enter by filling out a form on the Travel Weekly competitions page with which specialist area they would be a good fit for by September 10.
