THE SCOTTISH Tourist Board has launched a website aimed at promoting Scotland’s stressbusting qualities as a tranquil destination.
The site, www.stressbusting.co.uk, features details on breaks in Scotland as well as methods for dealing with stress.
A spokeswoman for the tourist board said it had carried out research that showed Scotland is regarded as a tranquil place that people can go to “chill out”. She added the website is part of the campaign to encourage tourists back to the region following the foot and mouth crisis.
