Seabourn unveils Ruby Collection for 40th anniversary

Seabourn has revealed more itinerary details of sailings in The Ruby Collection for 2028, commemorating 40 years of operations.

The collection of 54 voyages across the five-ship fleet is now on sale and will span the Caribbean, Mediterranean, southeast Asia, Japan, Alaska, the Arctic and Antarctica.

New ports of call for ocean vessels include Taichung and Tainan in Taiwan, Petersburg, Valdez and the Chiswell Islands in Alaska and maiden expedition ports will be Tvøroyri in the Faroe Islands and Cape Clear Island in Ireland.

Highlighted sailings include the 120-day ‘Cape to Cape’ World Cruise, departing on January 7, and the line’s second Pole to Pole Grand Expedition which will be a 96-day journey from the High Arctic to Antarctica on August 16.

In addition, Seabourn will operate a Yachtsman Collection featuring Caribbean and Mediterranean sailings with ports of call in “intimate harbours that inspired the line’s founding” of The Yachts of Seabourn in 1988.

There will also be a return to Red Bay in Canada and expansion into the fjords of Greenland, alongside new itineraries around “seasonal or cultural moments” in Japan and southeast Asia, such as the Pingxi Sky Lantern Festival in Taiwan.
