ATTRACTION and accommodation specialist Seligo hopes to boost on-line sales following the launch of its new website.
The site features on-line bookability for over 100 attractions and 800 hotels across the world. Agents who make bookings via the site, www.seligo.com, will earn the same rate of commission as they would on telephone and Viewdata sales.
Seligo managing director David Cockerton said: “I fully expect that independent travel agents will be making at least 25% of their accommodation and attraction bookings on-line within 12 months, and the multiples will not be far behind. Our aim is to make booking on-line as easy as possible.”
The site’s booking system has been developed by technology company FSS and has been in testing for several months.
