Silversea has named Nicola McNeish as its new senior director of sales for the UK and Ireland, effective from the end of September.
McNeish joins the ultra-luxury line from sister brand Celebrity Cruises, where she currently serves as director of sales for the UK and Ireland.
In her new role, she will report directly to Andreas Nuessel, Silversea’s managing director for the UK and EMEA.
She fills the vacancy left by Connie Georgiou, who departed the business in June after a decade with the line.
McNeish will take over leadership of Silversea’s trade sales strategy across the region, tasked with nurturing relationships with agency partners and expanding the brand’s footprint in the luxury cruise segment.
She brings more than two decades of travel and cruise distribution experience to the role.
During her tenure at Celebrity Cruises, she has overseen sales, trade marketing, support, training, partnerships and events.
Her earlier career spans roles across national accounts, strategic account management, product optimisation and change management at Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean Group and Thomas Cook Group.
A Silversea spokesperson said McNeish’s appointment “reflects Silversea’s continued commitment to strengthening relationships with travel partners across the UK and Ireland”.
They added: “Her extensive experience working within and alongside the travel trade brings first-hand insight, as the brand continues to place tremendous value on this important channel.”
