Social entrepreneur to explore future-ready leadership at Abta Travel Convention

The chair of foodbank organisation the Trussel Trust is to lead a session on future-ready leadership at the Abta Travel Convention.

Natalie Campbell MBE is a social entrepreneur and former chief executive of Belu, a purpose-driven drinks business that invests all its profits into tackling water poverty and reducing environmental impact.

She was recently appointed chair of Workforce Development Trust, a national workforce and skills organisation supporting professionals across health, justice and the visitor economy. 

Campbell is Chancellor of the University of Westminster, championing education, opportunity and social mobility, and an advisory council member at PwC UK.

In her session at the event in Madeira on October 12-14 Campbell will explore what future-ready leadership looks like in an era of rapid transformation. 

Using AI as a thread throughout, she will examine how leaders can build cultures of curiosity, adaptability and continuous learning, while developing the uniquely human capabilities that technology cannot replace, according to Abta. 

The organisations that succeed will be those that empower people and technology to thrive together, she will point out.
