The Indian Tapestry cruise departs Bombay on December 19 and calls in Goa, Cochin and Madras before ending in Calcutta. Prices start from £3,675 per person. The cruiseline is also maintaining a range of eight to 10-day voyages in the November 2000-March 2001 brochure. Marketing manager Mary Finucane claimed the shorter winter cruises, aimed at first-timers, had proved popular since launch two years ago.
Itineraries include Calcutta-Penang, Penang-Bangkok and Bali-Port Kelang. Prices start at £1,735.
Meanwhile, Swan Hellenic has made changes to the design of its brochure. Land tours are highlighted more prominently, maps have been improved and reviews of guest speakers have been incorporated.
New ports of call include Sihanoukville in Cambodia, where the highlight is an excursion to Phnom Penh. The port is part of a 14-night Aspects of Indochina cruise from Bangkok to Hong Kong. Prices start at £3,650 per person. The cruiseline is giving customers who book before May 31 a 25% discount off all cruises.
