Pacific Asia Travel Association (Pata) UK & Ireland’s flagship training event for agents, Taste of Pata, returns to London on September 10.
Agents can learn about the latest products and destination news from across Pacific Asia, with the association promising “bigger prizes up for grabs”.
Tokyo Tourism will be exhibiting for the first time, joining a line-up of tourism boards, airline and hotels.
Other exhibitors will be Tourism Authority of Thailand; Minor Hotels (Anantara & Avani); Kata Group & Beyond Resorts; Onyx Hospitality (Amari & Ozo Hotels); Air New Zealand; TreeHouse Villas Yao Noi; One World Travel & Sales Marketing; Journey Beyond and Elephant Hills.
Mako Murakami of Tokyo Tourism said: “We’re delighted to be joining Taste of Pata for the first time and are really looking forward to meeting travel professionals from across the UK.
“Tokyo has so much to discover, and we hope the event will be a great opportunity to share some of its many different sides and hear what UK travellers are looking for.”
Taste of Pata exhibitors offer interactive experiences to bring their destination or product to life, such as food and drink tastings, massages, giveaways and spot prizes, games, quizzes and challenges.
The star prize is a 16-night Thailand holiday, and agents also have the chance to win hotel stays, a £100 dining voucher, a £50 Amazon voucher and a case of Singha beer and others.
Taste of Pata is free for agents to attend and takes place at The Dilly, 21 Piccadilly, London, from 5.30pm to 9pm.
