Maybe Nigel wasn’t around at the time, but it was Thomson Holidays that started operator discounting in the first place with Square Deals. The Thomson Group should hold up its hands as the instigators of the troubles at the moment in both wholesale and retail sectors. At least some sense may come to them now they are German.
