The Travel Network Group (TTNG) is set to introduce a new all-in-one platform, Vision, described as a “significant step forward” for the consortium.
The platform, which will be available to members from November 10, has been designed to enable faster and more efficient operations.
The CRM at its core will record every lead, booking and customer interaction, with each element of the customer journey contained on a single platform.
TTNG chief executive Gary Lewis said: “While we have already delivered smaller solutions to meet specific needs, such as our TTNG Digital Assistant, Vision is a significant step forward.”
The new platform follows feedback from members at the group’s conference in Bucharest in June, which led to recognition of a growing demand for technology that saves time and strengthens customer relationships.
Vision will store leads and bookings while showing balances and featuring reminders, tasks, customer records, payments and analytics.
Profiles will be automatically created and “enriched with AI-driven insights”, enabling members to identify preferences and behaviours. This will help them to create opportunities that inspire clients, TTNG said.
The platform will also generate customer-facing itineraries for every booking and allow members to access TTNG’s content library, which includes 25,000 cruise offers and up to 40,000 hotels and villas, with more being added.
Upselling will be possible with “one click”, giving members the chance to increase revenue with “minimal effort”, TTNG said, while real-time analytics will give the chance to see customer trends and booking behaviours, which could help boost sales.
Lewis said: “We have made a clear commitment to support our members with technology that truly makes a difference.”
He added Vision has been “built around the customer and travel professional journey, bringing everything into one place and helping our members focus on what matters most: creating exceptional experiences for their customers and growing their businesses”.
To support its payment functions, the group has struck an agreement with Australian company Mint Payments, a travel industry specialist, which will enable real-time visibility of customer and supplier payments, automated balance reminders, receipts and reconciliation.
Mint also provides an added layer of protection through its Mint Protect safeguard.
