Thomas Cook axes jobs

SIXTY Thomas Cook UK managers – including some of the company's most senior staff – are being axed to streamline the business.

Thomas Cook tour operations managing director Simon Vincent, JMC Holidays managing director Terry Williamson, JMC Airlines managing director Terry Soult and JMC Holidays product manager Alan MacLean are among the top brass to go by the end of the month.

The rest of the redundancies will be across all departments and are due to be announced next week.
