Thomas Cook renames South Africa brochure

THOMASCook Holidays has changed the name of its Signature South Africa brochure for 2001 to Africa, after expanding its presence on the continent.

 

The brochure now includes properties in Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, Tanzania and Zanzibar as well as increased allocation at existing hotels throughout South Africa.

 

Two tours from Johannesburg are introduced – the four day Echoes of Africa and half day Lesedi Cultural Experience – plus a five-day tour in Namibia called The Living Desert.

 

Beach holidays in Zanzibar with safari add-ons in Tanzania and tailor-made Flying Safaris also make their debut.

 

Prices start from £54 per person per night at the Breezes Beach Club.

 

In addition, the brochure features a series of seasonal specials, with prices starting at £615 per person for five nights' room only at the Devon Valley Protea, Stellenbosch between May 1 and September 30 next year.
