Thomas Cook to sell financial services division

THOMAS Cook has today announced it is to sell its Global and Financial Services division to foreign currency services provider Travelex

The sale follows a strategic review of Thomas Cook, which concluded the company would be best served by concentrating on its core travel business.

The deal is subject to approval from regulatory bodies, including the European Commission.
