Top Scottish agent for Jet2holidays claims best-selling title for whole of UK

A Barrhead Travel branch has been named as top selling independent agent across the UK for Jet2holidays this year.

The Falkirk-based outlet was the operator’s best performing agent in Scotland last year.

The branch, located in Falkirk High Street, has shown drive and innovation over the last 12 months to become Jet2holidays highest performing agent, according to the operator. 

The agency achieved the nationwide accolade by proactively promoting Jet2holidays via social, email and other marketing channels and ensuring the operator is first choice for all short-haul enquiries, as well as maintaining regular contact with its trade team for performance updates and to discuss opportunities to drive sales.

Franchise director Greig Avinou, head of sales Kieran McVeigh and the 19-strong team have displayed “hard work and dedication” to achieve the award.

Avinou said: “Myself, Kieran and the rest of our team are absolutely delighted to be awarded this prestigious award for top agent in the UK for Jet2holidays for the first time. 

"We have all worked so hard to achieve this, and the focus has been incredible, demonstrating that with determination and hard work anything can be achieved.

Greig and the team were presented with the 2025 award by Jet2holidays’ business development manager Aileen Rutherford.
