Top-selling Jet2holidays agent joins operator after Aileen Rutherford exit

Greig Avinou is joining Jet2holidays following a career as owner and director of Barrhead Travel Falkirk in Scotland.

He joins the UK’s largest tour operator as partnership development manager for Scotland and Cumbria this month.

His appointment follows the departure of former business development manager Aileen Rutherford, who is joining Brilliant Travel after four years with Jet2holidays.

Barrhead Travel Falkirk was recently recognised as Jet2holidays’ top selling agent for 2025.

Avinou will work with independent agents and agency partners across Scotland and Cumbria, helping them to maximise opportunities with Jet2holidays.

The company said Rutherford leaves her role after making a “significant contribution” to the success of Jet2holidays’ trade team.
