Top Villas has launched a Madeira collection to its portfolio in response to growing demand from travel agents for European destinations with year-round appeal.
The villa specialist said the move reflected rising demand in the trade for European villa and apartment holidays and signalled its commitment to continuing to work closely with agents.
Madeira also marks the start of a wider expansion strategy, aimed at providing the UK travel trade with “one of the most compelling villa and apartment portfolios in the market”, according to the company.
The new collection includes a selection of private villas and premium apartments across the island, known for its mild year-round climate and volcanic landscapes.
General manager Ed Frampton-Fell said the addition of Madeira was the latest step in Top Villas’ strategy to expand its European range in partnership with agents following strong trade engagement.
He reiterated the company’s commitment to agents, citing “competitive” commission rates, dedicated trade support and an expanding range of destinations for consultants to offer their clients.
He said: “Madeira has been on our radar for some time, and the moment felt absolutely right to bring it into our portfolio.
“We’re seeing clear signals from our UK agent partners that their clients want more from Europe – more character, more authenticity and more year-round options. Madeira delivers on every level.
“The mix of private villas and high-quality apartments allows us to cater to a wide range of clients, from families looking for space and seclusion to couples seeking a stylish island retreat. Holidays are still very much happening, and they’re happening in style. Our role is to ensure the UK trade has the very best product to offer their clients, and with this launch, we believe we’ve achieved exactly that.”
The company reported strong forward bookings across its European portfolio and said it was enjoying consistent growth in enquiries from agents month on month.
It said villas and apartments in Europe were proving particularly resilient in the current economic climate, with demand from families or groups for spacious accommodation, privacy and flexibility.
