Oceania Cruises hosts Presidential Forum for key trade partners

Oceania Cruises has held its first Presidential Forum with more than 50 trade partners from the UK, Europe and South Africa.

The three-day event was hosted by the line’s chief executive Howard Sherman (pictured), who took office on January 1, and took place in Germany.

In addition to Sherman, partners heard from speakers including Bernard Carter, managing director EMEA, and UK & Ireland sales director Louise Craddock.

The event included 1-to-1 business meetings and an update on Oceania’s return to service and the delivery of new ship Vista, which is due to start sailing in spring 2023.

Carter said: “This was a great opportunity to meet with our very top travel partners in a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere, to catch up on lost time and to forge new plans as we start to look forward to better times.

“Following the re-launch of the newly re-inspired Nautica on April 1, we now have our full fleet back in service so this was a timely opportunity to work closely with the very partners that will play a pivotal role in our successful return to service.”
