Hundreds of flights were cancelled or delayed as a snowstorm struck New York over the weekend.
Transatlantic services were among those affected as airports across the New York and New Jersey region suffered from snow and ice causing post-Christmas travel disruption.
More than 1,000 international flights scheduled to depart or land in the US were cancelled on Saturday, including 20 between the UK and New York.
The majority of almost 14,500 US domestic flights disrupted on Saturday were in the New York area, including at John F Kennedy, LaGuardia airport and Newark Liberty airports, according to tracking site FlightAware.
States of emergency were declared in New York and New Jersey with people in much of the northeast of the US advised to avoid driving due to treacherous conditions.
Up to 10 inches of snow was reported have fallen across large parts New York state, including up to four inches in the city - the heaviest in almost four years.
