Some 50 new agents will be recruited to the Travel Choice Academy this autumn, while up to 50 existing staff will be put onto the scheme.
Each will spend January and February working in a Travel Choice agency before spending six months as an overseas rep for First Choice.
When they come back to the UK, they will work in a call centre or head office.
At the end of 18 months, they will be able to choose which strand of the group they want to work in.
Human resource director Bernie Price said: “The biggest complaint when agents leave is that the company has not invested time in them.”
She added the scheme will also create a new tier of agents who can be deployed in agencies or the call centre during the busy January and February booking period and then redeployed in resort for the summer.
“It’s a way of using staffing levels cleverly,” she added.
