The Travel Village Group will host its next conference in Ibiza in 2026.
The event will take place over four days at the Grand Palladium Hotel from May 6-9 with the theme ’Building Tomorrow’s Travel Business’.
The Travel Village Group said the event will have a "refreshed approach that puts people, purpose and partnership at the heart of every decision".
Chief executive officer Phil Nuttall said: "Earlier this year, I shared my concerns about the unsustainable pace our industry has set for supplier partners with events, awards, conferences - especially in the months leading to Christmas.
"We have reflected on this, and taken the decision to play our part by moving to an early season date.
"This conference will not be an expectation placed upon our suppliers, but an invitation to partner in a way that is valuable, respectful and energising.”
Nuttall said holding the event in May is a case of "smarter timing" as it will mean tour operator partners "avoid high-pressure periods" while "creating space for genuine connection, learning, and rejuvenation".
Nuttall added: "It also allows for business continuity at home because not all colleagues will attend, thus ensuring seamless service for customers remains a top priority.”
Managing director Paula Nuttall said making the conference biennial and taking a "respectful" approach to supplier invitations were some examples of "key changes" for 2026.
The format of the conference will also be different, she added.
"Whilst we cannot give too much away, we have moved forward from what we did and learned in Cyprus, which at the time was quite innovative and relaxed, to a format that is heavily weighted towards return on investment (ROI) between our business owners and our suppliers," she said.
The Nuttalls said the aim of the conference was to "show our people and partners that how we do business matters".
They added: "The values of a family-run company should be felt in every touchpoint - from our customers to our suppliers.”
