Travelcare buys Aquasun for undisclosed sum

AGENCY chain Travelcare has purchased five branch Aquasun Travel for an undisclosed sum.

The Aquasun shops, all in Greater Manchester, will begin trading under the Travelcare name over the next month and will be refurbished using Travelcare’s new brand identity.

All 40 staff will be retained.

The acquisition comes two weeks after Travelcare’s purchase of Fydale-based Destinations travel chain and is part of the company’s plan to expand into towns where they are not represented.
