Turnbull gets high-tech role

FIRST Choice has promoted Sam Turnbull to director of e-commerce as part of the company's plans to develop its digital television and Internet business.

 

Turnbull, who has been working in First Choice's marketing and new product development, will take a seat on the First Choice board.

 

He will report to sales and distribution director John Wimbleton and Dermot Blastland, managing director of UK and Ireland tour operations.

 

Meanwhile, Tim Clarke has been appointed channel manager for digital TV operations.

 

A former new product development manager at the operator, Clarke will now be involved with implementing First Choice interactive television as well as working with NTL, Telewest and Open.
