Two Spear Travels branches renamed as Miles Morgan Travel

Spear Travels shops in Thame and Blandford have rebranded as sister agency Miles Morgan Travel.

Hays Travel – the parent of Miles Morgan Travel – bought Spear Travels’ 12 branches and its homeworking division in June 2025.

Miles Morgan Travel revealed the rebranding in a Facebook post, saying: “We’re delighted to announce the addition of two new Miles Morgan Travel shops in Thame and Blandford!

“Previously operating under the Spear Travels name, these branches are now proudly part of the Miles Morgan Travel family, and we’re thrilled to welcome them on board.

“Customers can continue to expect the same friendly team, expert advice, and outstanding personal service, now under the Miles Morgan Travel banner.

“Now with 22 branches across the South and Wales, we’re even better placed to help you plan unforgettable holidays and provide the exceptional service you know and trust.

“We’re excited for this new chapter and look forward to welcoming customers to our new shops in Thame and Blandford. We can’t wait to help you plan your next adventure!”

Both rebranded shops are in Miles Morgan Travel’s southwest heartland, as Thame is in Oxfordshire while Blandford is in Dorset.

Mandy Shillito, Miles Morgan Travel managing director, commented on the post, saying: “An exciting new chapter for Miles Morgan Travel and we are delighted to welcome these two new teams… just ahead of opening our new shop in Frome.”

The Thame and Blandford branches posted on their own Facebook pages to assure customers: “Now, while the name above the door is changing, everything else you know and love stays exactly the same. You’ll still see the same friendly team, in the same place, delivering the same great service and expert advice.

“By becoming part of Miles Morgan Travel, an award-winning agency with branches across the South and Wales, we’ll have even more support behind us, helping us bring you an even better travel experience.”
