Typically offers singing trips with West End and X Factor professionals

Typically Holidays is offering singing holidays with coaching from leading West End and X Factor professionals.

It is the first time the tour operator has offered singing breaks, which include a Sound of Music-themed trip to Salzburg, Austria.

This offers coaching from three professionals in recording studios to learn all the songs from the famous film and appear in a Sound of Music video made during the trip.

Trips are aimed at confident amateur singers up to professionals and group sizes vary depending on the trip.

Typically managing director Daniele Broccoli said: “This is something new the trade can offer to their customers and the trips are already selling well.”

The Sing! programme of breaks is new for 2025 and 2026.

As well as Sing! The Sound of Music, there is also a Sing! Wicked, Sing! Rock Musicals trip and a Sing! Contemporary Choir and Walking holiday, all in Tarifa, Spain (pictured).

The seven-night Sing! Wicked trip is from September 21-28, priced from £2380 based on two people sharing a room and includes return flights and transfers.

It includes three professional singing tutors and music directors, with the use of three rehearsal studios. As well as the chance to work with top singing coaches, those who go on the trip will perform in a concert at the end of the week.

The guest mentor on the trip will be Dianne Pilkington, who has starred as Glinda and as Elphaba in Wicked in London’s West End and as Grizabella in Cats’ national tour. She will give a masterclass and mentoring session.

She is joined by Oliver Brenin, associate director on Wicked; CJ Johnson, a leading vocalist, actor, and X Factor coach; and Steve Moss, musical director of Les Miserable and Mary Poppins.

The trip includes 30 hours of tuition, with a maximum of seven attendees per class, with a maximum of 21 people on the trip.  Each person is allocated a mentor and has three different classes each day. It ends with a live public concert performance.

Accommodation is provided in villa Huerta Belina, El Cuarton, which boasts a sauna and outside spa. The trip is full board for five days and half board for one day when attendees can have a meal at a local restaurant.
