Virgin Atlantic broadens Caribbean network with partnership deals

Virgin Atlantic has introduced additional connections in the Caribbean after striking a new partnership with InterCaribbean Airways and strengthening its agreement with Caribbean Airlines.

The InterCaribbean Airways partnership offers connections to 11 destinations, with flights from Barbados to Turks and Caicos, Antigua, Dominica, Grenada, Kingston, St Kitts, St Lucia, St Vincent, the Cayman Islands and Georgetown in Guyana.

The agreement with Caribbean Airlines now extends to 16 destinations through the introduction of services from Antigua and Barbados to Beef Island and San Juan.

Virgin Atlantic is also increasing its own inter-island services this winter, with flights between Barbados, Grenada and St Vincent and the Grenadines rising from two to three times per week. All inter-island flying will be operated by the carrier’s newest aircraft, the Airbus A330-900neo.

Customers connecting through the Caribbean will have access to Through Check-In, meaning their luggage will be checked through to their final destination.
