virgin sells stake in luxury hotel

VIRGIN Hotels is reported to have sold its majority stake in Raymond Blanc’s luxury Le Manor Aux Quat’ Saisons to Orient-Express Hotels in a deal worth £28 million.

Orient-Express has also acquired a 50% share in Blanc’s Le Petit restaurant chain.

Blanc will continue to run both businesses.
