Visitscotland to sell weekend breaks for £10

VISITSCOTLAND will tomorrow sell 100 luxury weekend breaks at the bargain price of £10 each to boost the region’s tourist industry in the wake of the foot and mouth crisis.

The breaks must be taken in September and would normally cost £1,000 each. They have been made available via a partnership with British European, which is supplying discounted flights, and Hilton Hotels, which is offering cut-price accommodation.

The sale will take place at Visitscotland’s London office on Cockspur Street at 10am.
