Viva Cruises is offering agents the chance to win a sailing as part of its new video-led training programme.
Hosted on the river cruise specialist’s travel agent portal, the programme comprises five modules covering an introduction to the operator, its fleet of ships, the onboard experience and shore excursions, and two destination sessions.
Each includes a quiz to help improve agents’ knowledge of the river cruise line, with more modules to be added in due course.
Agents who complete the course will become a Viva Cruises specialist and are automatically entered into a prize draw to win a cruise for two.

Winners will be selected at the end of every quarter and notified by the Viva Cruises trade team.
The portal also features a range of agent-focused material, including a ‘toolbox’ with digital selling guides, brochures and images, in addition to a section for brand news, a meet-the-team page and information about ongoing incentives.
Michelle Daniels, UK & Ireland, Australia & New Zealand country manager at Viva Cruises, said: “We’ve developed our new agent training programme to make learning about Viva Cruises easier and more accessible than ever.
“The bite-sized video modules allow agents to complete the training at a time that suits them, while building their confidence and knowledge.
“By bringing together expert training, practical sales resources and the latest brand updates in one easy-to-use hub, we’re reinforcing our commitment to the trade, helping agents increase awareness of Viva Cruises, inspire their customers and drive more bookings.”
The Viva Cruises trade team comprises four members, following the recent appointments of Joseph Grimley and David Chidley as business development manager for the north, Scotland and Northern Ireland, and business development manager for the south, respectively.
