Web site to give clients access to product details

DISTANT Dreams is to launch its Web site later this month giving agents and customers access to product information.

 

 

It is the operator’s first technological venture.

 

 

Although the site will not have an on-line bookings facility, managing director Peter Traynor said the site will spark more telephone sales. “It is important to have a Web site but I don’t believe many people will book complex tailor-made holidays without picking up the phone and speaking to someone,” said Traynor. “The intention of the site is to give people information and hopefully people will then phone up.”
