Wizz Air adds routes with largest summer schedule from UK

Wizz Air is to fly its largest summer schedule from UK airports this summer.

Six new routes to Spain were introduced at the weekend while others to Greece will be added later in the year.

The budget carrier will operate more than 104 routes to 77 destinations from the UK this summer, as part of a broader network of over 1,000 routes across Europe and beyond.

London will be central to Wizz Air’s summer schedule with 69 routes from Luton Airport and 20 from Gatwick.

Luton has gained new links to Bilbao, Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Alicante and Seville, with return fares starting at below £50 each. 

The airline is running daily flights to Madrid and two daily services to Barcelona.

Wizz Air will also serve seven destinations in Greece, including Athens, Mykonos and Crete across the peak season.
