Wizz Air expands Gatwick network with new flights to Moldova

Wizz Air is adding to its eastern European network with a new route from Gatwick to Moldova.

The country’s capital of Chișinău will be served year-round four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Flights to Moldova, located between Romania and Ukraine, start on October 25 with one-way fares leading in at £36.99.

The additional route comes as the budget carrier continues to expand its network across the UK and Europe, with the airline recently operating 1,200 flights in a single day.
