WTM to host climate change summit

A United Nations World Tourist Organisation summit on tourism and climate change will be a key part of World Travel Market.

On Tuesday, November 13, a panel of speakers from the public and private sector will debate on the topic. They will also speak about alleviating poverty and sustainable growth.

This will be followed by a session considering a draft declaration recommended by environmental experts.

WTM chairman Fiona Jeffrey said: "The summit is a historic event that impacts the entire travel and tourism industry.”
