Yourgolftravel to expand into cycling and horse racing

Parent company Palatinate Group has bought into cycling holidays business Love Velo and is to launch Racingbreaks.com next month.

Ross Marshall, co-founder of the golfing holidays specialist, said of the cycling venture: “We have acquired a majority shareholding. Love Velo organises trips overseas, mainly for corporations such as JP Morgan.

“We are rebuilding the site and putting money into it.”

He added: “Racingbreaks.com, our new project for which Frankie Dettori is a shareholder, will go live next month.

“He is having a geat year, which is good for us, and he will be the face of Racingbreaks. We will be showcasing top race courses and will act as a one-stop shop,” Marshall told the Mail on Sunday.
