Atlas Adventurer marks a new chapter for Atlas Ocean Voyages, offering guests year-round luxury expedition sailing experiences across the globe
Sales are now open for the inaugural season of Atlas Adventurer, the new vessel from Atlas Ocean Voyages launching on November 6, 2028.
The world’s first purpose-built luxury expedition sailing yacht will make its debut with a collection of Epicurean and Cultural expeditions across the Far East, Indian Ocean and Africa. From eight-night escapes to a 128-night Grand Odyssey, Atlas Adventurer promises a new style of exploration where discovery, luxury and sustainability sail hand in hand.
Atlas Ocean Voyages entices clients through its relaxed, owner-style of hospitality, where every adventurous voyage feels like a home-from-home. Rather than formal luxury, guests will experience a highly personalised service and plenty of thoughtful touches within the private yacht-atmosphere.
Whether exploring a bustling food market in Southeast Asia, discovering centuries-old traditions in Japan or connecting with communities across East Africa, each journey is designed to go beyond traditional sightseeing.
Epicurean expeditions invite guests to discover destinations through their flavours, with local market visits, lively Yachtsman Cookoff competitions, wine tastings and cooking demonstrations hosted by celebrity chefs and regional experts. Cultural expeditions, meanwhile, delve deeper into the heart of a destination through lectures and workshops presented by experts and shore experiences hosted by cultural specialists. Atlas Polar expeditions take clients to far-flung regions, from the Arctic Circle to the southern glaciers of South America and the shores of Antarctica.
Atlas Adventurer is unlike any other vessel currently at sea. Accommodating 400 guests in luxurious suites, supported by a crew of 275, the yacht combines the romance of traditional sailing with cutting-edge expedition cruise technology and contemporary comfort.
At the heart of the ship’s pioneering design are three carbon masts, plus sails made with solid-state solar panels. Together with a nine-megawatt battery system, the yacht harnesses both wind and solar energy, helping to reduce environmental impact. A polar-rated ice-class hull ensures it is equally capable of navigating remote polar waters and tropical seas.
On board, guests will discover seven dining venues, five lounges and cocktail bars, a wellness spa and fitness centre, swimming pools and whirlpools, plus a marina platform with an ocean pool.
Purpose-built for exploration, Atlas Adventurer also carries luxury motorboats for coastal discovery and a fleet of Zodiacs for close-up encounters with wildlife, landscapes and hidden coves.
Atlas Adventurer’s inaugural programme features a range of Atlas Ocean Voyages’ signature Epicurean and Cultural experiences across Asia and Africa. Guests can savour regional cuisines ranging from Japanese kaiseki to the spice-rich flavours of Sri Lanka and the vibrant seafood cultures of the Seychelles. Ashore, experiences include heritage sites, wildlife encounters and guided exploration of some of the world’s most fascinating destinations.
