Azamara is combining double booking commissions with the return of a ‘win a cruise’ competition.
The wave competition became the small ship line’s highest-performing trade incentive of 2025.
The company now aims to build on last year’s momentum by once again giving all agents the opportunity to win a cruise for two, while earning enhanced rewards on every booking made throughout January.
The competition has been designed to be inclusive across the trade, with four distinct categories ensuring every agent has the opportunity to win, including: homeworkers, retail agents, cruise specialists and tour operators.
Every booking made during the wave period counts as an entry, meaning the more bookings agents secure, the greater their chances of winning.
UK & Ireland sales director Stuart Pearce said: “Recognising the exceptional effort agents make during the industry’s busiest booking period, Azamara is doubling its standard booking incentive throughout January.
“Agents will earn £20 per booking, which is double the £10 incentive offered throughout the rest of the year, providing immediate financial rewards alongside competition entries.”
Azamara’s current wave offer to consumers features $1,000 onboard credit per cabin.
Pearce added: “The wave period is crucial for both our trade partners and our business, and we wanted to create an incentive programme that truly recognises the hard work agents put in during this busy time.
“Last year’s competition generated incredible engagement and became our top-performing incentive of the year. By bringing it back alongside our doubled booking rewards, we’re showing our commitment to the trade partners who are so vital to our success. We want agents to benefit financially from every booking while also having the chance to experience our destination-immersive itineraries for themselves.
“The combination of immediate financial rewards, multiple opportunities to win, and a strong consumer offer positions Azamara’s trade partners for success during the critical wave booking window.”
