Four reasons to sell Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

Orlando is known as the home of Florida’s theme parks – but not all of the state’s best parks are on its doorstep. On the outskirts of Tampa, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay offers the ultimate family adventure, bringing together award-winning rollercoasters and rides with one of the largest zoos in North America. In all, it offers 300 acres of attractions that will whisk your clients to different parts of the world – one thrill at a time.

1. It’s a rip-roaring day out

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay’s rides are a combination of record-breaking coasters and world-class attractions. Iron Gwazi is the fastest and steepest hybrid coaster in the world, while Falcon’s Fury is a 102m-tall freestanding drop tower – the highest in the US. Clients brave enough to take on one of the world’s fastest and tallest inverted rollercoasters will be in for a treat, with seven adrenaline-pumping inversions on thrill ride Montu. Speaking of speed, Cheetah Hunt mimics its namesake animal as it whizzes riders around the track at up to 60mph.

2. Be transported to the African ’Busch’

Busch Gardens’ zoo is home to more than 16,000 animals spanning more than 200 species. The 65-acre Serengeti Plains features hundreds of free-roaming creatures, including reticulated giraffes and rhinos, while the Edge of Africa zone offers a walking safari where clients can see hippos, lemurs, crocodiles and more. Guests can also enjoy behind-the-scenes tours of the park’s vets at work on its injured wildlife at the Animal Care Center. The zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums.

3. Seasonal events aplenty

Whatever time of year clients visit Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, there’s always something different going on. Clients can experience the park at twilight with its Sunset on the Serengeti evening adventure (available January-March); Howl-O-Scream is Busch Gardens’ signature Halloween event; and Christmas Town embraces the magical time of year with festive shows and seasonal food.

4. Lion & Hyena Ridges opens in 2026

Opening at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay this year, the Lion & Hyena Ridge in Edge of Africa will be the largest and most immersive animal habitat to open at the park in more than 10 years. It expands the Edge of Africa safari experience by 150% and will offer a diverse mix of environments that will allow the animals freedom to roam, interact and thrive. Clients can get the best vantage point from viewing areas that offer 270-degree visibility and educational experiences with zookeepers.
