Hajj pilgrimage travel firm fails as Atol holder, CAA announces

A firm which organised Hajj and Imrah pilgrimage travel has failed as an Atol holder.

Yourtravelshop.com ceased trading under the scheme on August 4, according to the Civil Aviation Authority. 

The regulator said: “The company based in Ilford traded under the website www.yourtravelshop.com.

“We understand the company had no outstanding Atol protected bookings.”

Bookings sold as accommodation-only and packages which do not include a flight element are not covered by the Atol scheme.

The Yourtravelshop.com website makes no mention of the CAA notice.

It points out that the company has been trading since 1995 with managing director Shaykh Nizamuddin undertaking Hajj as a guide for the 24th time in June 2025.
