Hays Travel awards £2,000 holiday pot to seven employees

Hays Travel has awarded seven employees £2,000 each towards a holiday of their choice as part of a competition ending next month.

The Big Hays Travel Thank You recognises staff’s efforts by giving away prizes each month from September to November.

Among this month’s winners was Sunderland-based agent Joanne Liu, who said: “To be told I had won was truly amazing, having only worked for Hays Travel for five years since Thomas Cook went into liquidation. What an absolute surprise and an amazing company to work for.”

Hays Travel chair Dame Irene Hays said: “Congratulations to our October winners – we look forward to seeing everyone’s destination of choice and hope they all have fantastic holidays.”

This is the third year the giveaway has been run, with employees at Travel House and Miles Morgan Travel joining Hays Travel staff across its divisions as being in with a chance of winning.

Next month’s winners will receive a cash prize of £2,000 towards their Christmas shopping.
