Newmarket Holidays is claiming a major new initiative with the introduction of its Tour Plus Collection.
The option enables customers to expand escorted tours with cruises, events, city breaks, cultural explorations and beach stays.
Created in response to growing demand for more flexible and tailored travel, the add-ons are available on more than 50 tours with a 15% discount for bookings made before February 28.
More than half of the additions are new for departures from 2026 to 2028.
The collection builds on an existing range of Tour Plus Cruise itineraries, providing agents more opportunities to upsell and cross-sell itinerary enhancements, according to the operator.
Tour Plus Events includes all current André Rieu concert breaks and an Edinburgh Tattoo tour to Scotland.
New options include Donegal and the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland, followed by a two-night extension in Belfast; Costa Rica’s wildlife, volcanoes and national parks, ending with four days on Manuel Antonio Beach; and northern India’s Golden Triangle and Ranthambore National Park, together with a three-night stay in Shimla, the former summer retreat of the British Raj.
A number of popular South African safaris now offer an optional three-night Cape Town extension.
Head of trade sales and partnerships Hayley Morris said: “The Tour Plus Collection has been designed to give agents even more flexibility in how they sell escorted tours.
“Whether it’s a customer looking for an included cruise component, a few extra days on the beach or a deeper cultural exploration, these curated additions offer a brilliant way to tailor holidays to suit different travel styles, while keeping the reassurance of a trusted, escorted format.
“Plus, with our 15% Tour Plus launch offer, there is a real incentive for customers to book early.”
