Perfect Getaways has reported a “standout” opening week for its new self-employed homeworking division, Perfect Getaways Travel Partners.
The independent family-run agency, which operates retail stores across Cheshire, Merseyside and the Isle of Man, also plans three recruitment events across the country to capitalise on interest in its new homeworking venture.
The ‘Perfect Fit Day’ recruitment events will be at Liverpool Airport (September 17) and Gatwick (October 20), with a third planned for Jet2’s head office in Leeds, on a date to be confirmed.
Described as “relaxed, no-pressure sessions”, the events aim to help prospective homeworkers to find out if the business would suit them.
Homeworking specialist Natalie Singleton was recruited as head of travel partners last week and the agency has also received £10,000 in marketing support from Jet2holidays as part of the operator’s ‘Scale Up Your Street’ initiative.
New-to-travel couple Amy and Dan Jillings were the first to join the division and made four sales worth a total of more than £20,000 in their first week.
To mark the milestone, Singleton presented the pair with a gift celebrating their status as Perfect Getaways’ first Travel Partners and a first week “that has set the bar high”.

Another Travel Partner, Mica Jones, joins this week, having worked in the travel industry for more than 20 years – and Singleton reported being “inundated” with enquiries from prospective partners.
Singleton said: “What a first week. To see Amy and Dan land amazing sales straight out of the gate tells you everything about the calibre of people joining us – and the appetite out there is incredible.
“My inbox hasn’t stopped since we announced Travel Partners last week.
“This is exactly the start we hoped for, and with the offering now fully live, there has never been a better time to find out if we’re the perfect fit for you.
“Come and meet us at a Perfect Fit Day – but be quick, because spaces are going fast.”
Amy and Dan Jillings, Perfect Getaways’ first Travel Partners, added: “We couldn’t have asked for a better first week. Having real support behind us from day one made all the difference, and getting paid sooner means we can put everything into building our business.”
Jones added: “Having been in the travel industry for a long time and having had one-and-a-half years out for my newborn baby, I was desperate to find the perfect opportunity to fit in around my circumstances and deliver the amount of business I know I can produce.
“The second I spoke to Natalie about this I knew it was the perfect fit for me and I can’t wait to get started.”
A member of the Co-operative Travel Consortium, the agency highlighted its three commitments for Perfect Getaways Travel Partners – with commission starting to be paid from the month after a booking is made; partners keeping up to 80% of the commission; and the full backing of an experienced team, with training, marketing support and supplier relationships of an established multi-branch agency.
