Solmar Villas has developed a new ‘Book with Confidence Promise’, joining the ranks of travel brands seeking to reassure customers that 2026 holidays are safe to book.
The villas specialist said in a statement: “The promise boosts existing quality and reassurance guarantees, such as being fully Abta-bonded, having a 24/7 holiday helpline support, and local resort teams on the ground.
“Agents can book flight-inclusive villa holiday packages under Solmar’s Atol licence, for the maximum protection and reassurance of a full refund for the customer should the airline cancel a flight or if the FCDO advises against travel to the destination.”
The new Book with Confidence Promise also guarantees “Fair flexibility for villa-only bookings”. This means that, if the UK foreign office advises against travel to the chosen destination or the airline cancels flights, Solmar Villas will waive the standard £150 administration fee to amend the booking. Customers will only pay any difference in holiday price for a new destination or date.
It also guarantees that Solmar Villas won’t pass on any additional flight surcharges after the booking is made.
“The price quoted is the price paid – any airline cost changes after booking will be handled by Solmar,” said the villas specialist.
Sharon Bradbury, general manager, said: “Like many brands in the UK travel industry, we have seen the impact from recent world events and want to do everything we can to minimise the effect this has on our customers and their confidence in booking with us.
“Above all, we want guests to feel relaxed and excited about their well-deserved holidays, not anxious and unsure about what might happen in the coming weeks and months.
“We hope this goes some way to making that happen and are proud to join the ranks of other travel companies boosting travel-industry confidence and resilience by making these promises.”
