EasyJet holidays has claimed an 18% week on week rise in bookings to Greece attributed to epic film The Odyssey.
Corfu (pictured) has seen the biggest spike at 28% over last week, with searches up by 9%.
Searches for holidays to the Peloponnese peninsula rose by 12% for destinations such as Kalamata.
The Ionian islands of Kefalonia and Zante have seen searches increase by 8% and 7% respectively.
Meanwhile, bookings to Sicilian hubs are up 8% week on week, with Catania searches up 10% and Palermo 9%.
The operator has released a range of curated ‘Odyssey-inspired holidays’ featuring four and five-star Mediterranean destinations across Greece, the Ionian Islands and Sicily.
