Tui Group has confirmed the first opening in Asia of its ‘laid-back luxury’ hotel brand Mora.
The property in Singapore is due to open in September with 20 rooms in colonial bungalow style.
Located within the Labrador Nature Reserve, the hotel is 10 to 15 minutes from the centre of Singapore, featuring an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor hot tub, with an executive lounge, bar and two restaurants in a neighbouring building.
The Mora brand will continue its expansion with an additional project under development in Bali, Indonesia. The first hotel is located in Zanzibar.
“As the brand grows, The Mora aims to establish a collection of destinations across Asia, creating places designed for living in the moment, where laid back luxury meets authentic travel experiences,” Tui noted.
Tui Hotels & Resorts chief executive Artur Gerber said: “Singapore is the perfect destination for The Mora’s Asian debut.
“Located in one of Asia’s most vibrant and cosmopolitan gateway cities, the hotel will introduce The Mora’s distinctive lifestyle to both international and regional travellers.
“Surrounded by 22 hectares of greenery the hotel provides the ideal backdrop for our philosophy of laid-back luxury and contemporary spirit.”
