Newmarket to offer breaks to see Terracotta Warriors exhibition in Liverpool

Newmarket Holidays has put coach breaks on sale for 2018 to see China’s First Emperor and the Terracotta Warriors Exhbition in Liverpool.

The operator is offering two and three day inclusive coach breaks to Liverpool’s World Museum, which will include admission to the exhibition, free time to explore the city, and bed and breakfast accommodation in a central location.

The exhibition features more than 180 artefacts from museums across Shaanxi Province – more than half of which have never been on show in the UK before.

As part of the exhibition organised by National Museums Liverpool and the Shaanxi Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau and Shannxi History Museum, visitors can see the Terracotta Warriors, including a life-size terracotta horse and other objects from the First Emperor’s Qin Shi Huang’s burial complex.

Newmarket head of trade sales, Richard Forde, said: “The exhibition itself promises to be extraordinary – the Terracotta Army is often high up on everyone’s ‘must-see’ list.”

A two day break to see the exhibition starts from £135.
