Join Havila Voyages on a historic climate-neutral taster voyage
Do you fancy being part of a historic voyage along the Norwegian coast?
Later this month Havila Voyages will operate a climate-neutral 12-day round trip sailing along the Norwegian coastal route.
The company’s ships already sail silently and emission free using only battery power for up to four hours at a time through Norway’s UNESCO protected fjords. However on this historic sailing they will operate the entire 12 day route climate-neutrally by using biogas in combination with the ship’s large battery packs.
To celebrate, they are offering five travel agents the opportunity to join them on that voyage, sailing for two nights between Bergen and Trondheim.
The winners will enjoy return flights from London, overseas transfers, the two night taster voyage in a Seaview cabin on full board basis, and will have the opportunity to explore Alesund, renowned for its art nouveau architecture.
While onboard, they will have the opportunity to sample local Norwegian dishes and specialities in one of the three onboard dining venues, using ingredients sourced from the sun-kissed mountainsides of the fjords and some of the world’s best fishing waters on one of the most unspoiled coastlines in the world.
If the skies are clear, there may even be the opportunity to experience the magical Northern Lights.
