Twelve lucky agents will be heading to Madeira this autumn courtesy of Jet2holidays and will grace the cover of Travel Weekly throughout 2026
The 12 winners of Travel Weekly’s flagship Cover Stars competition have been selected to feature on the front pages of the UK’s number-one trade magazine throughout 2026.
The competition is being run for the third year in partnership with Jet2holidays, with the winners hosted on a VIP Indulgent Escapes trip to Madeira this autumn where they will have professional photoshoots to create next year’s fantastic covers.
While on their trip, they will receive flights from Manchester with Jet2.com, a host of incredible experiences and Indulgent Escapes privileges including private transfers, priority lane passes at UK airports and accommodation at the stunning five‑star Savoy Palace in Funchal, Madeira.
Travel Weekly Cover Stars returned in partnership with Jet2holidays two years ago and the winners were chosen by a panel of judges from the operator and Travel Weekly after submitting video entries.
The winners will be featured each month during 2026, with their photo appearing on the front cover of Travel Weekly alongside an interview about their careers, their VIP experience and professional photoshoot.
Lucy Huxley, editor-in-chief of Travel Weekly, said: “Congratulations to all our worthy winners. We are delighted to have teamed up with Jet2holidays again to put our travel agent readers front and centre of their number-one trade magazine.”
Get ready to fall in love with Madeira – a lush island where year‑round sunshine, stunning sea views and laid-back charm come as standard. From its colourful capital, Funchal, to the golden sands of Calheta, this island’s all about soaking up the good life. Think lazy days by lidos, sweet malmsey wine, garlic-basted espetada (meat skewers) and fiery traditional alcoholic drink poncha – the local food and drink are as bold as the landscapes. Boutique shopping, chic bars and quirky nods to British heritage add a cultural twist too.
Is there anywhere better to stay than the fabulous Savoy Palace? A short stroll from Funchal’s buzz, this five‑star stunner blends contemporary design with top‑tier luxury. Sleek metals and warm tones set the stylish tone, while the rooftop infinity pool boasts panoramic ocean views. There are four more outdoor pools to dip into, plus a spa for next-level relaxation. Feeling peckish? Take your pick from five restaurants – à la carte and buffet – and unwind in one of the four elegant bars.
With a mix of indulgence, style and unbeatable location, Savoy Palace is the ultimate base for discovering the magic of Madeira.
